Anyway, I have MMA gloves because I use them as art references. I don't fight now, or ever really…but I did take Karate about ten years ago and Tai Chi for general health/stress purposes a few years before that. Not that I remember much from either. I have a few friends that are martial arts inclined or instructors, so I'm hoping to get some sort of free or inexpensive training out of them.

Since my job cut my hours way down (8 hours a week, if that), I'm back to a limited budget until I can get my hours up or find a second job. But, it's hard finding a second job when your school schedule takes up Friday afternoon. Even if you offer to work Saturdays. My current job takes up my Sundays.

At some point today, I'll design the Team Dobie stuff and upload it to the site. If you're unfamiliar with Team Dobie, it's the design on the shorts that Anubis' sparring partner–an anthro Doberman–wears during his full contact spar sessions with Anubis.

I spent most of yesterday on Mint.com realizing that I've spent $150 on e-books alone in the last two months. Set a budget of $20/wk for ebooks, and working hard not to exceed it. In this month, I've only spent $40 thus far, so I think I'm within my budget obligations. Both books are textbooks required by classes; cheaper in e-book form than purchasing them in tangible form.

My gay whore of a neighbor is moving back home. Which is fine, but I detest him. He's everything I want to eliminate about the homosexual stereotype. Has the lisp, wears the Abercrombie & Fitch/Hollister crap, drives a Passat, sleeps around with random people he meets online (even moved in with one for a few years), and isn't that attractive…so it's a little annoying that he's such a whore. His car also takes up my parking spot, and I can't have that. I'm not a self-hating homo, I just really hate anything that perpetuates the stereotype because I'm not that stereotype…unless I've been drinking.

Anyway, back to the MMA gloves. I took them off to type. Since I can still draw with them on…
